HathKal Lab, founded by a group of Khmer scholar in 2018, aims to convert every local agricultural produce in the country into valuable goods to compete in both domestic and international markets. However, the team starts the mission from essential oil production. We have cooperated with farmers from many areas of Cambodia to realize this vision. 

HathKal Lab is derived from the word “Hath” and “Kal”, meaning  “hand” and “new and creative” in Khmer respectively. Lab here refers to science. Our logo and each label showcase Khmer art in different styles, proving the glorious history of our art and history. The business intends to integrate creativity of art and science. We hope that one day when our products travel around the world, everyone knows it belongs to Khmer by just staring at our logo, label and name.
